How do I book my first appointment?

You can book your first appointment by filling out our contact form below, calling us directly at (647) 725-1919, or emailing admin@thrivepsychotherapy.com. We'll get back to you within 24 hours to schedule your initial consultation.

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?

Yes! We offer secure online therapy sessions for clients throughout Ontario. Virtual sessions provide the same quality of care as in-person appointments with the added convenience of attending from your own space.

What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your concerns, goals, and answer any questions you have. This helps us create a personalized treatment plan that works for you.

How long are therapy sessions?

Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. However, we also offer extended sessions if needed. The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we work with most major insurance providers. Our services are covered under many extended health benefit plans. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage for psychological services.

Is therapy confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share in sessions stays private, with rare exceptions required by law (such as risk of harm to yourself or others). We take your privacy very seriously.
